Information for authors
Original articles should be sent to: Zespół Badawczy Edukacyjnej Analizy Transakcyjnej, Instytut Pedagogiki, Akademia im. Jana Długosza w Częstochowie, ul. Waszyngtona 4/8, 42-200 Częstochowa, or: educational.ta@ajd.czest.pl.
An article should be written on a A4 page with 2.5 cm margins (top, bottom, left, right) with Times New Roman font. The text should be justified, with 1.5 space between the lines, and saved as: .doc, .docx, .rtf lub .odt.
Figures, tables or illustrations included in the article should be additionally sent in a separate file as .jpg or .tiff (the grey scale resolution of 300 dpi). All of them should be labelled.
All footnotes or annotations and works cited should follow the APA style (http://www.apastyle.org).
Annotations should follow Oxford referencing style and include: the name of the author, the year of publication, and – whenever possible - a page number, e.g.: (Jones, 2001, p. 14), (Roberts, 2008b, p. 83). Full information on the works cited should be listed in the alphabetical order in the References section, following the examples below:
- Books: Author, (Date of publication), Title of the book, Publisher, Place of publication.
- Articles in magazines and journals: Author, (Date of publication), Title of the article, “The Journal”, Issue number.
- Articles in edited monographs: Author, (Date of publication), Title of the article, [in:] Title of the book, (ed.) Editor, Publisher, Place of publication.
Footnotes at the bottom of the page should be avoided whenever possible.
The author is required to provide the Digital Object Identifier if a particular work cited has been assigned one. It can be verified at: http://www.crossref.org/guestquery
The article should be accompanied by its title in English, its summary in English (approximately 800-1000 signs with spaces) including key information on the purpose, research topic, methodology and conclusions, as well as up to 5 keywords in Polish and in English.
Together with the article, its author must send signed Umowa o przeniesienie autorskich praw majątkowych and Oświadczenie, which verifies the authorship of the article (to eliminate ‘ghostwriting’ and ‘guest authorship’), and indicate the sources of financing by research and educational institutions, associations, etc. (‘financial disclosure’).
